A browser MMO

ALTREKYN

The machines kept working. The people they were told to serve never came back.

One world, always the same, no shards to choose from. You walk, you fight with a sword or a rune or your voice, and the people around you are real players on the same ground.

Plays in the browser. No download, no install, no account needed to start.

What kind of world

The Earth did not empty. It changed hands.

Humanity built replacements for itself, and then left. What remains is a civilisation that runs on infrastructure nobody remembers commissioning: factories that still produce, servers that still answer, doors that still open for people whose tags stopped being checked decades ago.

The people you meet believe they are human, and by every law that matters they are. Whether the ground they walk on agrees is a question the game will not answer for you.

One world

Everyone is in the same place. No instance to pick, no queue to join, no version of the world that only your friends can see.

Free movement

A stick or a keyboard, and a camera you steer. You go where you look. Combat is an area, not a target list.

No download

It is a page. Open it on a phone on a train, and the same world is there when you get home.

Yours to keep

Play as a guest. If you want your character to still be there next week, you make an account once, and nothing moves.

Four ways in

A class is a job, not a rank. Each one changes what a fight is.

Taken from the same data the game loads: change a class and this page changes with it.

The first region

Haldor, the ash fen, the pine ridge, the ruin field, the river march.

One line of country, five zones, levels one to sixteen. The road runs north and the levels rise with it. At the end of it something is still announcing a status change nobody asked for.

The full region, its creatures and its quests are documented on the wiki, from the same data.
